São Roque - kalandpark és borászat I...Adventure park and winery in São Roque I...

Sao Roque Santostól kábé 140 kilométerre, észak-nyugat felé, egy kis völgyben fekszik. Dél felől a Serra do Mar hegység határolja, aminek a tetején található a Dél-Amerika legnagyobb műjég és műlesikló pályája a Ski Mountain Park.

A városka Sao Paulo megye egyik legszebben fekvő települése. A 19. században alapították portugál és olasz bevándorlók, kihasználva a régió adottságait a szőlőművelésre. Számos borászat található Sao Roque-ban, valamint erre épülő programok, mint a borkörút, ahol többek között bemutatják a borkészítés folyamatát is. Ezen kívül van ott egy csokimúzeum, farmok, lovardák és különböző kirándulóhelyek. 

Mi Eszterékkel, ezúttal a kalandparkba és egy portugál borászatba mentünk el, és (idő hiányában) egy másik alkalomra hagytuk a borkörutat, a csokimúzeumot és a lovardát.

Először a kalandparkba mentünk, nyitásra, de már akkor is sokan voltak és majdnem megtelt a parkoló. A parkban lehetett "szánkózni" (vagyis csúzdázni), műlesiklani és műkorcsolyázni is, de nem igazi jégen, hanem ilyen csúszós, műanyag lapokon. 

Eclezio, Fabio és a gyerekek kipróbálták a kötélpályát és a fák között mászást, később a gyerekek pedig trambulinoztak. 

Közben egyre többen lettek, és így már nem volt kedvünk végigállni a sorokat, hanem inkább elmentünk ebédelni Vila Don Patto-ba, egy kis farmon található portugál étterembe. Az étterem mellett voltak ott ajándékboltok, kávézók és egy játszótér is; ez utóbbinál töltöttük egy kis időt amíg szabad asztalra vártunk, és jó volt egy kicsit napozni is.

Az étterem után elmentünk a Quinta do Olivardo nevű portugál borászatba, ahol nemcsak borokat lehetett kóstolni és vásárolni, hanem különféle sajtokat is, és persze árultak pastel de Belém-et, és bolinhos de chuva-t, vagyis fánk golyókat. 

A bortúrára, még mindenképpen vissza szeretnénk jönni később, kiváncsi vagyok, itt hogyan készítik a borokat. Pincéket nem nagyon lehetett látni, inkább ilyen présházakat, ahol fahordókban tárolják a borokat. A legtöbb bor amúgy édes vörösbor, de majd a borkörút alkalmával remélem részletesebben is le tudom majd írni pontosan miket is készítenek itt.

Sao Roque is charming small town in Sao Paulo state with a wonderful sight from the Serra do Mar mountains. In the 19th century, immigrants from Italy and Portugal arrived to Sao Roque to work in vineyards. There are number of wineries and related attractions  in the town such as the Wine Road where step by step process of wine making is shown.
Apart from this there is a chocolate museum, a riding centre, several opportunities for hiking as well as the largest artificial ski park in Latin America, the Ski Mountain Park. 

This time we decided to visit only the adventure park and a Portuguese winery and left the chocolate museum and the Wine Road for another occasion.
We arrived to the adventure park at opening time but there was a long queue already and the parking area was almost full. 
The park offers several "winter" activities like sledding (or toboggan), skiing and skating in artificial environment. Instead of artificial snow, slippery plastic floors were used but the impression was pretty much the same (except the warm weather of course).

Eclezio, Fabio and the kids tried the ropes course and they loved walking on the raised balanced beams and the suspension bridges. Later the boys jumped on trampoline too. 

Meanwhile more and more people arrived and we didn`t want to spend our time waiting in queues so we went to  a little farm, Vila Don Patto for lunch. We had delicious steak in a Portuguese restaurant then walked a bit around to see gift shops and the playground.

After lunch we headed to Quinta do Olivardo, a Portuguese winery where we could taste not only wines but cheese, sausages and sweets too. They produce and sell their own wines (mainly sweet red ones) and we bought some bottles of it. Pastel de Belem and bolinhos do chuva (kind of doughnut ball) were also sold.

We are definitely going to come back to see the wine tour and chocolate museum on another day. Sao Roque is a hidden jewel, it`s worth to visit more times.

Sky Mountain Park

Toboroz a haditengerészet...Navy recruits...

Pár napra beállt a kikötőbe a haditengerészet egyik hajója és toborzással egybekötött nyílt napot szerveztek, így mi is kimentünk megnézni hogyan is néz ki egy ekkora hajó közelről.

Azt a hajót amit mi is láttunk csak reprezentatív célból használják, valamint tréningeket tartanak rajta. Folyamatosan úton van, és nemcsak Brazíliát érinti, hanem az Atlanti óceánon néha elérik Európát, vagy az USA-t is. 

Még sosem láttam közelről vagy voltam ekkora méretű hajón, és tök érdekes volt sétálni a fedélzeten, olyan volt mint az akció filmekben. :-)

A belső kabinokba sajnos nem engedtek be, pedig jó lett volna benézni oda is. De akkora volt a sor, hogy ilyen körforgás szerűen mentek az emberek, és egy csoport nem sok időt töltött fenn; hamarosan a jött a következő.

Így miután kinézelődtük magunkat és vettünk fel szórólapot, el is jöttünk, és elmentünk fagyizni a legközelebbi cukrászdába.

One of the ships of the Brazilian Navy stopped by in the port of Santos to recruit new staff and an open day was organised so we went to see how such a huge ship looks like in real.

The ship we saw is used only for representative purpose and training courses are hold on it. It is constantly on the move and cruises not only near Brazil but sometimes reaches Europe or the U.S. too. 

I have never seen or have been to any ship of this size and it was very interesting to walk on the board; it was like being in an action movie :-)

Unfortunately we were not allowed to enter the cabins although I was curious to see them too. But there were so many people there to see the ship that we were divided into groups and spent just a short time on board.

Hence, once we finished the sightseeing and picked some leaflets, we left to have an ice cream nearby.
