Ahogy az elozo bejegyzesben irtam, a lakas, amit berelunk teljesen ures volt, se butorok, se villany, igy sok szervezes es munka elozte meg az elso ejszakat amit mar itt tudtunk tolteni. Eloszor a szolgaltatokkal kellett idopontot egyeztetni, hogy az alap dolgok, mint a villany, a gaz, viz rendben legyenek, plusz internet, telefon.
Ezzel parhuzamosan elkezdtuk beszerezni a butorokat is. Mivel korulbelul egy hetig tartott mire kiszallitottak egy-egy rendelest, ezert probaltunk tobb dolgot egy helyrol beszerezni, de igy meg belefutottunk abba, hogy peldaul mivel a mosogeppel volt valami gond, ezert nem akartak kiszallitani semmit, hanem majd ha kapnak masik mosogepet, akkor mindent egyutt. Igy egy kicsit kellett vitazni neha de vegul minden megerkezett.
Mas dolgok, amibe belefutottunk, hogy peldaul a TV elofizeteshez adnak digitalis ado-vevo dobozt, de nem volt egyertelmu, hogy tobb fajta doboz letezik, igy mi az alap keszuleket kaptuk meg (rendeltuk meg?), amivel nem lehet musorokat rogziteni. Azt majd kesobb ki kell cserelni.
Vagy amikor bekotottek az internetet, kiderult, hogy 2Mb-ig nincs wifi, csak kabeles net, igy azt is ujra kell szerzodnunk.
De a legjobb az volt, mikor kiderult, hogy ebben a lakoparkban 110V-ot hasznalnak, es a lakasban is egy konnektor kivetelevel (ami 220V) minden 110V, igy vissza kellett hivnunk nehany boltot, hogy meg kiszallitas elott csereljek ki peldaul a mosogepet 220V-rol 110V-ra, de volt, amihez csak vettunk adaptert, peldaul a mikrohoz.

Itt, csakugy mint sok helyen Magyarorszagon, a kisebb boltokban friss kenyeret, hust, felvagottat es sajtot a pultnal kell kerni, igy az ember ra van kenyszeritve a kommunikaciora. Csak a nagyobb szupermarketekben vannak elore csomagolt elelmiszerek. Ez egy ilyen kenyelmi dolog, en konkretan jobban szerettem elore csomagolt hust venni Londonban, mint kulon kerni, ugyhogy erre majd vissza kell szoknom.
Egyebkent Brazilia sok szempontbol emlekeztet Magyarorszagra, vannak dolgok, amik hasonloan mukodnek (nem olyan olajozottan mind peldaul Angliaban), az arak itt is az egekben vannak, a zoldsegek es a gyumolcsok szezonalisak, aztan persze a mostani idojaras, a 25-29 fok, ami szinten az ottani juniusi melegre hajaz.
Ami az eteleket illeti, en mar regen megszoktam, hogy vannak dolgok, amik nem mindenhol elerhetoek es ha nem elsz az adott helyen, akkor sajnos le kell mondanod roluk. Ilyen a tejfol, kefir Magyarorszagrol, vagy az ecetes csipsz Angliabol, de nehany napja a friss zoldborso jutott eszembe, hogy peldaul az sincs itt. (gorogdinnye viszont mindig, es azt imadom!)
Hianyoznak tehat dolgok (es emberek) mind Angliabol es Magyarorszagrol is, de az itteni szepseges kornyezet valahol potolja ezt a hianyt. A haz mogott van egy csodaszep domb, azzal nem tudok betelni, ahogy ott magasodik, olyan mintha a gyongyosi Sarhegyet huztak volna kozelebb a solymosi hazhoz. Annak ellenere, hogy most nem lakunk nagyon kozel a tengerparthoz, azert a kilatas erre a hegyre mindig boldogga tesz mert egyfajta nyugalmat araszt, ahogy ott van all a nagy tomegevel (most eppen felig paraban, mert esik az eso).

As I mentioned in the previous post, before we moved in, we had had to arrange water, electricity, internet and phone connection first. Also, as we rent an unfurnished flat it means that there wasn't any furniture at all so we had to buy everything by ourselves. We arranged all above with the utility companies in parallel with furniture purchase. As delivery time was about a week, we tried to buy most of things from one place, yet, we sometimes got stuck as for instance there was a problem with the washing machine so we got call from the store that once they fixed it, they would send everything together. We had to push them to send the goods separately without keeping us waiting for the fridge or the cooker.
We had some surprise with other issues too. When we set the contract for cable TV, we thought there was only one type of digital box but it turned out there were many. We got the basic box which was not suitable for recording programs so we had to call back the company to replace it.
Or when the internet was connected it turned out that up to 2Mb speed WiFi was not included, only cable net, so again, we had to call them back and modify the contract.
Such things always come up when you already expect things working but find out that something is wrong with this, with that. Very annoying.
Double voltages also caused a problem. In Brazil both 110V and 220V are used. It varies by cities. For example Santos is on 220V but Sao Vicente is on both. It effects electronic devices and not all the stores sell devices for both voltages. In Santos, we couldn't find coffee maker which worked on 110V hence we had to go to Sao Vicente to buy one.
As our building is in Santos we assumed electronics were working on 220V but to our surprise it turned out that 110V was used. So we had to replace our washing machine and other devices from 220V to 110V to avoid using adapters everywhere in flat.
Apart from above inconveniences we are getting there, by now only the kitchen furniture is missing. During the day I spend my time with Caio, we discover the area around the building. We already found a small shop, a bakery and a grocery near Caio`s school.
Sometimes Brazil reminds me to Hungary, maybe because it is summer time there and here the temperature is between 25-29 degrees too. Also, we have a car here just like in HU, while in London we used public transport. Family visits and somehow the whole atmosphere is also very similar, as our life in the UK was so different. Sometimes I miss both UK and HU but at the same time I know that I miss mainly nice memories and things which already passed.
Brazil is really beautiful, lots of green everywhere. There is this amazing hill next to our building which makes the view so spectacular that I cannot get enough of it.
Even if we don`t live close to the beach at the moment, we see this beauty everyday and it makes me really relaxed.
